This morning, i updated my blog to wordpress 2.6.5. It is recommended upgrade.

I also fixed my remake livetr theme and fixed yahoo glyphs plugin.

Actually, i also want to upload one of my project, called : Yahoo Messenger Archive Decipher. But it still unfinish with some language translation. I hope can finish it soon. 2 Projects on my waiting list this morning. Argh…

Terbangun jam 4 pagi.. Melihat keluar kamar, hujan.. Sudah dari kemarin sore hujan..
Dingin sekali!!

Setelah 2 jam menunggu warung buka dan perut keroncongan, akhirnya memutuskan keluar untuk cari sarapan. Berbekal celana pendek, kaos, jaket VL + payung, siap2 keluar.

Memastikan kalau di luar hujan sudah tidak lebat lagi, akhirnya berangkat.

Di depan rumah kost bertemu ellen dan saudaranya (atau orang tua), entah..

Jalan baru 5 menit selepas keluar dari gang, tubuh menggigil!! Goblok!! Kok bisa menggigil si?? Hipotermia?? Parah banget!! Dinginnya amit2 bo… Gak ketahan! Mau balik kost, sudah tengah jalan.. Takut menggigil tambah parah, akhirnya jalan sambil lari-lari kecil menuju ke penjual nasi kuning.. Belilah nasi kuning.. Harganya naik lagi… Rp. 5500,- Parahnya ekonomi Indonesia mulai berdampak negatif, minimal bagi anak kost, + yang belum kerja dan belum lulus kuliah.. fyuh..

Anehnya, pas jalan pulang menuju kost, tubuh sudah tidak mengigil lagi.

Sampai di kost, menyalakan dispenser, nulis blog, nyalain program tv tunner(liat infotainment??), buat kopi, sarapan dengan nasi kuning.. Oh.. Indahnya dunia ternyata masih bisa kunikmati pagi ini. Terima kasih Tuhan atas pagi yang dingin tapi indah ini..

Plugin Name : Yahoo Glyphs

Description : Replace standard smiley glyphs with Yahoo’s glyphs complete with Yahoo! graphics emoticon plus pidgin’s graphic.

Version : beta and always beta (but it works!)

License : This program is totally free. Free means Free.

Reason to create this : I dislike standard glyphs provided by WordPress and any other sites that use the same way. I  like Yahoo’s glyphs. They are more charming, cute and various. That’s all.

Other :

A glyph is an element of writing.

This plugin only have effect in your  post content and comment area when they are accessed by user in their browser. Otherwise, do nothing. It will not add any clue in comment and post writing area. It will replace glyphs with graphic emoticon. I provide with 2 option graphic emoticon. First is Yahoo’s standard, include the new ones, like transformer .
Second is pidgin’s standard. I provide 2 graphic because i think Yahoo’s graphics have copyrights and pidgin’s graphics have GPL. CMIIW, because i do not want to surpasses other teritories or rights. And for a note, i match pidgin’s graphic by myself. Because i think pidgin’s graphic is not well implemented.

You should remember that this plugin only replace html entities characters. It will not convert :"> to , but it will convert :">. I suggest you always use html editor, not visual editor.

It works well in my WordPress Tyner. I not test it in other environment. Just test by yourself. I will no provide patch, except for regex error. Regex means Regular Expression, which the basis of plugin. (EDIT: by February 2009, it also works well in WordPress Coltrane.)

November 2008 : I found bug inside my regex pattern. I found it when i was testing it randomly. I have fixed it, it should be good by now. I also have added case insensitive directive to the pattern. Hope this one will serve better.

Instruction :

1. Download the source : here.
2. Extract and upload the directory named yahooglyphs inside wp-content/plugins directory
3. Turn off standard graphic smileys. For more information, visit : How To Turn off Graphic Smileys
4. Edit the yahooglyphs.php in order to choose which graphic do you like to use, Yahoo or Pidgin.
5. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
